MANUFACTURING PROCESS SYSTEMS
The manufacturing process involves:
Slitting Line for the slitting of prime coils into the desired width for manufacturing different types of Section and Panels.
Cold Rolled Forming Mills : These machines are for Cold Rolled Forming specially designed sections and panels to have additional strength with the minimum material usage.
Hydraulic Press,Mechanical Presses & Press Brake : These machines are used for the manufacture of different Sheet Metals pressing with the help of extensive tooling.
Jig & Fixtures : The Sub-assemblies are manufactured on specially designed jigs and fixtures with the help of CO2 welding, spot welding and Argon Arc welding . Consistency and inter-changeability of all the sub-assemblies are insured.
Pre-treatment line : The pre-treatment line consists of a eight tank dip system for Degreasing, De-rusting, Phosphating and Passivation. This process protects the products from corrosion and rust.
Down draught pressurized Paint Booth and Baking Oven: The Paint Booth is pressurized where a flow of washed air is maintained at a constant pressure. The air fed to the paint booth is free from dust particles upto five microns enabling us to do Multi Colour painting with high gloss and smooth surface. The baking oven has a temperature upto 140 º C for baking the paint to ensure long life.
Assembly Line: All the components of the buses are assembled on the Assembly line to get better productivity and inter-changeability.
Testing Facility : All the products are subject to the strict quality inspection where the buses go through the shower test assuring no water leakage/dust entry.
Our Plant & Machinery comprises the latest machineries given elsewhere in this profile.
I have highlighted salient features of our vehicle bodies :
- Stage wise quality checks from raw material receipt to the final delivery of vehicle resulting in defect free bus body.
- Aero-dynamic design resulting is more milage per litre of fuel for the vehicle.
- Sealed against dust and rain. All buses go through the test to ensure same.
- Body manufacturing on Assembly lines ensuring better delivery periods and less chassis hold up time.
